Fairly clean place, good service, extremely friendly and excellent staff. Newly decorated rooms with breakfast, enjoyable stay! A wide range of amazing food. Central location and good value hotel itself.

Everybody was incredibly welcoming. The breakfasts were always super with basic commercial cereals and £12 meal.

It has unbeatable, magnificent setting, short walk to the railway station, bus station and town, the centre of Durham and the nice pub. The rooms offered are reasonably spacious and newly renovated with shower and coffee.

We had a really great stay for a University visit.
We enjoyed rooms where the windows ca n't open. The breakfast in the restaurant was large and exceptionally nice for £12 meal.

Fresh made and exceptionally nice breakfast a wide range of meals.
Central location, not too far away from a recognised college. Comfy, bright unit with good breakfast, shower, for example.

Incredibly welcoming and pleasant staff and the place was clean. Liked the room, it was recently refurbished and good sized with breakfast. I had outstanding food for breakfast for £12 meal. The location was magnificent and right by a train station. Highly recommended for one night.
